Specification of Stainless Hole Plate SS201 SS304 SS316
Stainless steel or stainless steel, better known as stainless steel, is a material that contains iron compounds and at least 10.5% chromium to prevent corrosion (metal scraping). The ability to resist rust is obtained from the formation of a Chromium oxide film layer which blocks the oxidation process of iron (Ferum).
Stainless Classification
12-14% chromium (Cr), where the steel mechanical properties are very dependent on the elemental content of carbon (C).
Steel with continued hardening, 10-12% Chromium (Cr), 0.12% Carbon (C) with a little additional elements of Mo, V, Nb, Ni with a pressure strength reaching 927 Mpa used for gas turbine blades.
High chromium steel, 17% Cr, 2.5% Ni. Has very high corrosion resistance. Used for pump shafts, valves and fittings that work at high pressures and temperatures but are not suitable for acidic conditions. Magnets cannot stick to stainless steel.
